PTN Rubber Leg

A Pheasant Tail Nymph rebuilt for modern nymphing. The classic pheasant tail body and peacock herl thorax are kept, then rubber legs are added for leggy movement through the drift, all on a tungsten head. The PTN remains the most widely fished nymph in the world, and the added movement makes this version harder for a trout to refuse.

Tungsten headed and hand-tied in Kenya. Hook sizes 6 to 22 at $3.80 per dozen (ref TGNS83).
