Ales Original AK7 Black BL

One of the Ales originals and a dependable all-rounder. The AK7 is a black, high-contrast pattern that stands out in a peaty stream or under a grey sky, and it covers a wide range of food: drowned ants, small beetles, black spinners and dark sedges. If you carry one black dry fly, make it this one.

Barbless and hand-tied in Kenya. Hook sizes 6 to 22 at $2.50 per dozen (ref BBF08).
